Why isn't my contractor website getting any leads?

Short answer

The three usual causes: nobody can find it (no local SEO or Google Business Profile), it loads slowly or looks dated so visitors bounce, or there's no clear path to contact you. A site with traffic but no leads has a conversion problem; a site with no traffic has a visibility problem. Diagnose which one first.

Run this two-minute diagnosis

  1. 01Check Google Search Console impressions. Near zero? It's a visibility problem — you need indexing, local pages, and a Google Business Profile.
  2. 02Have traffic but no form fills? It's a conversion problem — weak headline, buried phone number, slow load, or no reason to trust you above the fold.
  3. 03Test the site on your phone on cellular data. If it takes more than three seconds, you're losing over half your visitors before they see anything.
